The Auditor General of Canada released her report on the Department of Indian Affairs (INAC) funding of First Nations Child and Family Services on May 6, 2008. The report confirms First Nations reports that INAC's funding formula known as Directive 20-1 is inequitable and that INAC's proposed funding formula based on the Alberta model is also inequitable.
