The Guidelines for the Ethical Engagement of Young People

The Guidelines for the Ethical Engagement of Young People is a tool to assist organizations that are currently engaging with young people and those that are beginning the process to reflect on their organization's structures, culture and capacity - both human and financial - to respectfully engage with young people.

The development of the guidelines was lead by a team of young leaders in partnership with adult allies in 2006 and was updated in 2011. Many thanks to all the youth involved in creating this important document.
