Resources for Families & Educators

There are many resources to support families and educators working for and with children and youth during a pandemic.

Here are a few:

  • Kids Help Phone has created COVID-19 resources for parents, caregivers and children on how to cope and support each other. 

  • The Government of Canada has created an online portal offering accurate information and resources for families. 

  • Pan American Health Organization (PAHO)’s coronavirus website showcases accurate and updated information on COVID-19 in the Americas. 

  • School Mental Health Ontario has 12 easy and fun mental health practices to try with your children at home.

  • Shaw and EverFi have partnered to create free online lessons for K-12.

  • Child Trends' article by child trauma experts shares guidance and resources on supporting children during this time.
