To be used alongside Spirit Bear's Beary Caring Curriculum, the Jordan's Principle Learning Guide invites everyone to learn about the case on First Nations child welfare and Jordan’s Principle. Students will learn about child welfare and discrimination that continues in government practices and public and services in Canada and what they can do to end discrimination against First Nations children and youth.  

This glossary was created for the Spirit Bear Virtual School and is meant to be used in conjunction with Spirit Bear's Beary Caring Curriculum and the learning guides for the campaigns.

In this article, the authors share their research on a curriculum for social

justice, truth, and then reconciliation as put forth by the First Nations Child and

Family Caring Society (Caring Society). The Caring Society is a non-profit

organization that advocates for equity and social justice for First Nations children
